BCDC is a 484-bed multi-use facility capable of housing minimum, medium and maximum security offenders. LCS Corrections Services, Inc. and our partner companies financed, designed and built the facility in 2000-01, and LCS has operated it since that time. The facility is located on a 12-acre site and has a double perimeter security fence that includes a non-lethal electric "stun" fence.
A new housing unit with 96 residential beds and 10 special housing beds is currently under construction and scheduled for completion in the second half of 2011. |
