General Information:	SLCC is a 1,002-bed multi-use facility serving state, federal and local clients.  The facility was constructed in 1993, with subsequent multiple expansions, and has been operated by LCS Corrections Services, Inc. since its opening. SLCC is located on a 12-acre site and has a double perimeter fence, an offender industrial facility and a large outdoor recreation area. The facility has the resources to offer extensive educational services, computer literacy programs, vocational-technical training and rehabilitation services. The facility can also offer a work release program offering specially qualified offenders the opportunity to work off site.
